It’s easy! Method 1: PayPal
When you click the PayPal button and select the type of payment, such as for dues or for a contest entry fee, you will be taken to your PayPal account, where you log in securely as you normally do.
Arizona Mystery Writers does not see any of your PayPal information. That’s why we ask you to identify yourself in the box below the amount. Example:
Click the “Donate” button at the bottom of the last screen and that’s it.
Don’t have a PayPal Account? You don’t need one. Just use your credit or debit card to make the payment. Arizona Mystery Writers does not receive any of your credit card information.

Method 2: Zelle
Just about every bank in the U.S. supports Zelle payments, and it’s always free. Go to Zellepay.com to get started. https://www.zellepay.com/. It will connect you to your bank. If you already use Zelle, just log into your bank, click on the account you want to use, and click on “Send Money with Zelle.”
If you don’t have the Zelle payments system set up with your bank, it’s easy and free to sign up for the service.
If you haven’t paid AMW before with Zelle, “Add new Contact” and enter Treasurer@arizonamysterywriters.com. Enter the amount to send, with a note including your name, and that’s it.
Zelle puts up a warning that it is not meant for purchasing products online because there are no guarantees. You only want to use Zelle to send money to a friend. The AMW treasurer is your friend.
When Using Zelle:
Send your Zelle payment only Treasurer@arizonamysterywriters.com. If you put in any other address, the payment might go through, but we won’t get it. It’s up to you to enter the correct address.
PayPal, Zelle, or Arizona Mystery Writers will never email you for personal financial account information. If you get an email that asks for personal financial information, delete it.
Method 3: U.S. Post
We still accept old-fashioned paper checks sent through the mail for payment of club dues, but contest entries must be electronic because of the volume of entries. You can also pay for a monthly meeting with cash at the door.
