Bombs are a complicated business – both dealing with live ones, and trying to investigate their aftermath. Please join us in welcoming Deputy Ryan Inglett, Pima Regional Bomb Squad Investigator, and Sgt. Christopher Rogers, Commander of the Pima Regional Bomb Squad. Although they encourage the asking of lots of questions, be aware that they may not be able to answer them – for obvious reasons.
We’ll have a delicious lunch, and a fun book drawing.
In our afternoon session, we’ll be listening to some of our authors read. Wanna participate? This is your chance to shine. Come prepared with a 5-minute reading to present to the group. It can be fiction, a poem, a personal essay or something else you are willing to share. The only stipulations are:
1) It should your own work.
2) It should be no longer than five minutes.
It will be fun. You can hone your presentation skills. You’ll have an enthusiastic audience to cheer you on. What’s not to like?
