We are thrilled to welcome back Kris. Her workshop will address why including a strong sense of place and rich character descriptions will make your writings come to life and make readers bond with the material. She’ll also look at some of the mistakes she sees in the writings of newer writers. She’ll discuss how to make a static background into an active part of your narration, and how to inject all types of descriptions with perspective, mood, tone, and emotional color. We'll go through two short writing exercises.

The fee is $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers, to offset the rental space expenses, and you can pay in advance online with Paypal or Zelle sent to amwtreasurer@gmail.com, or at the door with cash or check.
