The Pima County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Unit is in charge of helping people who get lost or stranded in tough-to-reach places around Arizona. By law, they handle all search and rescue operations for the county. Whenever there’s a good reason to believe someone needs help—whether they’re lost, hurt, or stuck somewhere remote—the team jumps into action. How urgent the search it gets decided based on a careful look at the situation.
Sgt Tyler Legg believes Search and Rescue is one of the best jobs in law enforcement and looks forward to telling us what they do.
Sgt Hilliker is now a CAPTAIN! Our congrats go out to him!
The meeting will run from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
