Saturday, Dec 14th Holiday Meeting

Saturday, December 14th Holiday Meeting

It’s our annual AMW Holiday Celebration! No speaker or workshop–just an opportunity to hear some of your colleagues read from their work, socialize with friends, and play a few writing-themed contests and games. We’ll have the traditional Ugly Sweater contest, where, at long last, your lack of fashion sense might be rewarded. There will be door prizes and a delicious lunch. How could you miss this opportunity?

If you would like to read a 3-5 minute sample of your work, contact Workshop Chair Kay Lesh by using the About/Contact menu.  Reading time is limited, so don’t delay. First come, first served.

We’ll have a delicious lunch, and prizes, prizes, prizes!

$25 for RSVP’d AMW members, $30 non-members. Price includes a hot lunch.

Please RSVP by 9:30 am, Tuesday before the meeting, to save your place.

$30 non-members. You can pay at the door. $25 for members who RSVP

You can RSVP by:

email: amwmembershipchair@gmail.com

Or through Meetup:

www.meetup.com/Arizona-Mystery-Writers-of-Tucson

We are unable to accommodate special dietary requirements. However, the lunch has many choices so you can select a satisfying meal.

And don’t forget: You can pay your 2020 dues now. $25 makes you a card-carrying member of the Arizona Mystery Writers. If you attend only five meetings during the year, the meeting discount pays for your membership. As a member, you can sell your books at the March Festival of Books in the AZ Mystery Writers tent. But above all, as a member, you support your club and mystery-writing in Tucson. Pay your dues at the door or mail a check to Arizona Mystery Writers, PO Box 31992, Tucson, AZ 85751.

One more thing: We are looking for someone to help with the annual writing contest for adults. The contest runs from January to June, and we need someone to collect the entries and distribute them to the judges. If you are interested in being the Adult Contest Coordinator, speak to any board member at the meeting or contact Presiding Chair Bill Adams by using the About/Contact menu.
