The After-lunch Session:
Self-publishing is how most writers will find their readers. With today’s technology, it’s almost free but still challenging. Bill Adams learned how to do it by publishing four successful novels and keeping notes during the process. In this session, you’ll learn how to get started and see the project through. Bring one sentence that answers the question, “What is your book about?”

Bill Adams, writing as William X. Adams, is the Presiding Chair of the Arizona Mystery Writers. He is a cognitive psychologist who left the classroom for the information technology industry. He now writes psychological science fiction and wide-ranging nonfiction from Tucson, Arizona.

$25 for RSVP’d AMW members, $30 non-members. Price includes a hot lunch. Pay at the door.

Please RSVP by 9:30 a.m. on the TUESDAY before the meeting to reserve your space.

If you attend only five meetings during the year, the meeting discount pays for your membership! As a member, you can sell your books at the March Festival of Books in the AZ Mystery Writers tent. And above all, you support your club and mystery-writing in Tucson. Pay your dues at the door or mail a check to Arizona Mystery Writers, PO Box 31992, Tucson, AZ 85751.

We are looking for someone to help with the annual writing contest for adults. The contest runs from January to June, and we need someone to collect the entries and distribute them to the judges. If you are interested in being the Adult Contest Coordinator, speak to any board member at the meeting or contact Presiding Chair Bill Adams by using the About/Contact menu.
