Happy new year, writers! Need some tips on how to get your stories in shape to be published (or maybe win the next AMW contest)? Our sole speaker for January is award winning and bestselling author Conda V Douglas, who will share her experience and tips on short story writing!
Douglas attributes all of her success in her writing career because she started with writing short stories, her first true love. Conda has written and sold well over a hundred short stories and articles. Writing short stories has taught her how to write and what she should write about, plus given her a wealth of experience in the publishing world. And the reason for her two novel series? Yup, both series started as short stories!
We’ll also have a delicious lunch, and a fun book drawing.
