In her first career, Rhema Sayers spent 10 years on the Mexican border in Douglas, Arizona and learned a lot about the Old West. Then she spent the next 25 years working in ERs in Tucson and California. Since retiring, she has developed a second career as a freelance writer with an historical bent.
